What’d I do? IDSA’S awards program IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards) did not have branding that reflected the prominence, prestige or excitement of the awards. After the brand audit, the logo variations and typeface were not replaced but updated. The color palette was refreshed with the rich colors and usage of metallics (that visually aligned with the popular IDEA trophies) that added some richness and gravitas. The IDSA Marketing Director and I created a campaign that focused on previous IDEA winners that are all industrial design icons. It was hugely successful and IDEA had its biggest year ever in 2024.
