What’d I do? IDSA (Industrial Designers of America) is a 4k+ member association with a 60-year history. I delivered a brand audit and strategy that guided the update of the IDSA parent brand and visual identity system, making the brand identity more streamlined, dynamic and cohesive. I partnered with the IDSA Marketing Director to create marketing deliverables plus social media assets and campaigns. The response was immediate: the National ID Day work was the highest engaged social campaign in IDSA’s history.

The essential elements of the brand (the IDSA logo, the red and black color palette and Helvetica Neue) were retained for their legacy and classic design vibes. The updated brand elements and new layouts started to be more striking, consistent and more IDSA.
